These are an excellent rugged pair of never used short gaiters from the Italian army.
You can’t find old world quality like this in a gaiter.
The design is largely the same as used by the Italian "Alpini" mountain troops in WWII.
These thick heavyweight canvas gaiters will protect your lower legs and boots from briars, brambles, and crusty snow.
Made in a very tough canvas with leather trimming with traditional metal clasps and hooks, thick cotton lacing and nylon straps under the soles.
The Model 68 gaiter was used for many years in the Italian service, and was made with olive drab main body, and upper collar in both olive and brown.
With proper care you can expect a lifetime of use out of this quality gaiter.
