[40mm] Faser MS-4 Gasmask Filter Polska Civilförsvaret Gas Mask Activated Carbon

MS-4 gasmaskfilter (40mm GOST) är designad främst för civilförsvarsbruk och tillverkades i färgerna grått och grönt.

Filtret består av aktivt kolpulver, glasfiber filter och aluminium hus.
Filterhuset är förseglat i båda ändarna, ett Faser klistermärke finns på båda sidorna.
Äldre klistermärken som långtidsförvarats kan förlora viss vidhäftningsförmåga och av det skälet kan enstaka klistermärken lossnat helt eller delvis.

För att klargöra om filtret innehåller det farliga ämnet asbest så har man utfört labbtester.
Labbtesterna visar att MS-4 filter INTE innehåller det skadliga ämnet asbest.
Sista bilden visar en rapport som bevisar frånvaron av asbest i MS-4-filtret.

NBC/CBRN FILTER
These filters consist of activated carbon powder as well as fiberglass filters, high quality aluminum housings.
In principle, the filter can be stored for almost any length of time because carbon aluminum and glass do not age.
If the filters are stored correctly, most experts agree that they are functional for at least 40-50 years.

When using filters for work at eg. construction work, painting, demolition, decontamination you need to change filters occasionally. When the filter is slow to breathe through, it is time to change the filter because the filter is then clogged with particles.
When using toxic flue gases, it is recommended to change filters every day.
When used against non-toxic gases such as tear gas or pepper spray, you can use the filter until you feel the gas

Note that gas masks and this type of filter not provide protection against carbon monoxide in the event of fire (in case of fire oxygen is required).
