[60mm] NEW Genuine Canadian Army Military Gas Mask Filter NATO Resp. Gasmask

New and unused 60mm NATO filter in sealed poly bags.
Genuine high quality Canadian Army gas mask filter M-69.
These 60mm filters fit's directly on several Danish- Finnish- and British- army gas masks.
To use these filters with 40mm NATO gas masks, you need a so-called filter reducer / adapter, which we sell separately.

These filters consist of activated carbon powder as well as fiberglass filters, high quality aluminum housings.
In principle, the filter can be stored for almost any length of time because carbon aluminum and glass do not age.
If the filters are stored correctly, most experts agree that they are functional for at least 50 years.

If you use these filters for work at eg. construction work, painting, demolition, decontamination you need to change filters occasionally. When the filter is slow to breathe through, it is time to change the filter because the filter is then clogged with particles.
When using toxic flue gases, it is recommended to change filters every day.
When used against non-toxic gases such as tear gas or pepper spray, you can use the filter until you feel the gas

These filters are made primarily for military use and have a 60mm thread.

Probably works but since no one can guarantee this, these filters are sold as collectibles.
Note that military gas masks and this type of filter provide no protection against carbon monoxide in the event of fire (in case of fire oxygen is required).

GENERAL DATA
• Intended use:    Respiratory protection against gases, vapours and particles in conjunction with a specified face piece. Scope of protection as indicated by product documentation, technical standards and installed application rules.

• Design:    The filter housing has a round shape and consists of the filter pot and the filter cover.
        Filter pot includes the RA thread, filter cover has a round opening to the inhalation side.
        There is one filter bed consisting of activated carbon. It is fixed by the housing and internal sieves.
        The particle filter is positioned in front of the gas filtration part on the inhalation side.
• Working principle:    Gases and vapours are removed from the ambient air by adsorption onto the sorbent         (activated and impregnated carbon), particles are filtered by the micro-glass fibre filter.
